We will study stories about, and poetry, by Worcester’s finest poets who don’t live in a mortal form, but their words should never die. We had national stars, Kunitz, Bishop, Olson, O’Hara, but there were poets that remained largely unknown beyond Worcester whose work deserves to be known.

Instru ctor: Eve Rifkah was co-founder of Poetry Oasis, Inc. (1998-2012), a non-profit poetry association dedicated to education and promoting local poets. The play, Outcasts the Lepers of Penikese Island, was based on her first book. She has 6 books, none self-published, plus essays and flash fiction in numerous journals.
