Are you a retired professor or industry professional? Do you have a special interest or hobby? WISE is always seeking new instructors and new academic topics to add to our curriculum.

If so, consider being a WISE instructor. Submit your course idea using our Course Proposal Form. Your proposal will be reviewed by our Curriculum Committee for inclusion in an upcoming session.

Spotlight Lectures

The Spotlight format provides a unique opportunity for new topics to be shared with WISE members outside of the regular course schedule. Note that Spotlight presenters are not compensated for their time, per WISE policy. However, Spotlight topics that generate a lot of interest often become candidates for a future five-week course!

Spotlight presentations are typically 60-minutes in length and offered over Zoom. Although Zoom is the preferred format, there may be opportunities to conduct a Spotlight in-person under certain circumstances. Please reach out to the WISE Director for more details.

If you have an idea for a Spotlight lecture use the Spotlight Proposal Form and submit your idea to the WISE office for review and scheduling.
