What is the WISE Writing Club all about?

The Writing Club has been in existence for eight years, with a rotating membership of a small, select group. We write in various genres, especially memoir, but also short stories and poetry. (One of our members is a published poet.) We meet monthly in person, usually for a couple hours at a club member’s house, to read our writing which we submit ahead of time. Constructive criticism and positive comments are exchanged and discussed. Mutual trust and confidentiality are tantamount to our sessions. 

Given the nature of our meetings, the Writing Club cannot accommodate a large number of participants. Ideally seven would be the maximum number to give everyone equal time in each session. With a new academic year starting, now is the perfect time to add a few more members to enrich our group.
